Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Practice Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Gladstone practice.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, ear syringing, and venipuncture.
- Conduct health screenings and assessments, including chronic disease management and preventive care.
- Provide patient education and counselling on various health topics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and referrals.
