Job Title: Marketing Executive

At Vicinity Centres, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Executive to join our team. As a Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in the effective tactical execution of key marketing activity and campaigns to deliver the marketing objectives for the centre and drive the best customer experience for our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with the Regional Brand & Marketing Manager and National Marketing team to develop and execute marketing plans
  • Generate local tactical activity creative briefs with local requirements to be aligned with VSA pillars and national toolkits
  • Implement social and digital activity, monitoring and reporting
  • Event, campaign and activation installation, dismantling, risk assessments and day-to-day management
  • Legal and compliance duties, including briefing of terms and conditions and escalating compliance and governance requirements
  • Financial/budgeting duties, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting
  • Localise the national sustainability strategy, including relationship management, community bookings and data reporting
  • Centre operational support, including centre walks, duty management, customer service desk assistance, hoarding management, PA announcements, visual merchandising, new store support, warden training, maintaining the marketing storeroom, updating Resolve and consumer complaints and onsite contractor support
  • Administrative and reporting duties, including preparing reports and attending CAR Meetings and state meetings, Centre administrative support and performance management of traffic, sales and campaign PIRs and compliance reporting
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in marketing and events management
  • Strong understanding of retailer businesses and engagement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Financial acumen and proven performance to drive value and commercial results
  • Strong organisational, compliance and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
