About Qvalent:

Qvalent is a leading software development company that specializes in creating cutting-edge products for the financial and banking sectors. Their core platforms are trusted by millions daily, processing thousands of transactions per day for some of Australia's largest organizations.

This is a company where careers grow, and many team members started as graduates and have progressed to senior roles. With Qvalent entering an exciting period of growth, it's a great time to join a solid technical team.

What We're Looking For:

This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy tinkering, problem-solving, and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. If you're passionate about operations, eager to learn, and unafraid to take on new challenges, you'll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities:

Work within the operations team to ensure seamless performance of Qvalent's corporate and production infrastructure.Design, install, configure, and support infrastructure systems.Collaborate with developers and third-party providers to deliver high-quality and high-availability infrastructure.Work on complex technical projects with a focus on maintaining optimal security standards.

Ideal Experience:

This role offers a broad scope of responsibilities, with exposure to various systems and technologies. While experience with the following is advantageous, it's not necessary to have it all:

  • Strong background in managing large-scale infrastructure in high-availability and secure environments.
  • Expertise with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with F5 BIG-IP load balancers, TLS, DNS, and Web Services.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows Server, RedHat Linux, and email systems (Exchange 365, SMTP).
  • Experience with SEIM systems like Splunk and secure messaging protocols (SFTP, HTTPS).
  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO27001, and CPS234 security standards.
