
Audiologist Role in NT Community Development

Join a workforce program dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory. This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
">- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver culturally safe, high-quality care.
- Develop skills in a unique healthcare setting while immersed in the cultural and natural surroundings of the region.
- Contribute to the development of the local community through healthcare services.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Engage with local stakeholders and partners to promote the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant clinical setting.
- Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as an Audiologist within the past 12 months.
- Evidence of current Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist Certificate.
- Current membership with Audiology Australia.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
