Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Legal Advisor to join our team at Adelaide Airport. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert legal advice and support to ensure the smooth operation of our airport.

About the Role

This is a senior-level role that requires a high level of expertise in commercial law, with a strong focus on contract management, dispute resolution, and compliance. You will work closely with our executive team, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our airport operations are carried out in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice to senior management and other stakeholders on a range of matters including contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and compliance.
  • Manage complex legal matters and projects independently, including drafting and reviewing contracts, advising on regulatory requirements, and providing guidance on legal risks.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders, including managers, directors, and other team members.
  • Contribute to the development of internal policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with our company values and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, providing recommendations for updates to our internal policies and procedures as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Laws degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience as a solicitor.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial law, contract management, and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex legal matters and projects.
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate legal risks.
