Job Summary

The HSEQ Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our operations. This includes conducting site visits and audits, participating in training sessions, and promoting a positive safety culture. The successful candidate will have a trade or construction background, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of WHS procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site visits and audits to ensure compliance with HSEQ procedures
  • Participate in and lead training sessions on sites and offices
  • Promote a positive safety culture and values
  • Partner with site managers and supervisors to provide guidance and support
  • Mentor and coach site leadership on safety programs
  • Coordinate WHS training for relevant staff
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Support project teams in incident management
  • Support injured workers and assist with return-to-work responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain WHS data management systems
Requirements
  • Trade or construction background
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Computer and technology literacy
  • Current Drivers License
  • General Construction Industry Induction Card (white card)
  • Willingness to travel for site inspections and training sessions
Desirable Qualifications
  • Electrical background
  • WHS Qualifications
  • Experience in safety activities within a construction, service, or trade environment
