Job Overview

We are seeking a senior security professional to provide advisory services across a broad range of security disciplines, including strategy, governance, risk, audit and compliance.

  • This role involves leading and delivering client projects, working with clients and prospective clients to identify their security needs, and mentoring and coaching more junior staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to deliver high-quality consulting projects under pressure.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking security threat and risk assessments
  • Developing security strategies and roadmaps
  • Reviewing solution design artefacts
  • Assisting in the evaluation of emerging technologies and service providers
  • Delivering security architecture advice

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
  • An analytical mindset
  • Able to deliver multiple consulting projects at high quality
  • Self-starting team mentality
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and proposing mitigating controls
  • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or higher certification

Desired Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience would be advantageous:

  • Awareness of Australian and international privacy regulations
  • Awareness of security practices for AD & Azure / AWS / GCP environments
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA / CISM / CRISC / CISSP
