About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Editor to join our team at Talent International. As an Editor, you will play a critical role in shaping the content of our publications and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Development: Coordinate the progress of material from receipt to publication, including liaison and negotiation with authors and staff on the content, structure, and presentation of material.
  • Editorial Excellence: Maintain and apply sound knowledge of current and changing editorial practices, publishing trends, and principles in print and in digital environments.
  • Team Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships and cross-functional collaboration with all employees, and provide accurate advice, quality services, and support in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrate experience in providing excellent customer service, responding to complex queries, and resolving issues with multiple layers to the satisfaction of customers and the business.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in Content Management Systems and authoring/editing publications electronically, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Tools.
About You
  • Editorial Expertise: Highly developed editorial skills and extensive experience in editing a range of complex publications, and experience in applying an editorial house style and using stylistic authorities effectively.
  • Industry Knowledge: Sound knowledge of current and changing editorial practices and publishing trends (print and electronic/online) and an understanding of copyright requirements.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong team skills, including the ability to mentor and support others, and resolve conflict to achieve a reasonable outcome.
