Job Title: Electrical Service Technician

Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our QLD Infrastructure Services maintenance team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing support in maintaining and working on electrical components across fixed asphalt plants, fixed building facilities, bitumen blending plants, and mobile plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Breakdown support and maintenance at production facilities and upgrade electrical equipment at production facilities.
  • Assist with efficiency analysis of electrical installations at production facilities.
  • Coordinate external suppliers and administration work required to record completion of works against assets using Fulton Hogan systems.
  • Manage internal testing and inspections as required.
  • Assist with training of electrical apprentices.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification and Queensland electrical licence - Mechanic or Filter - Mechanic with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a maintenance or industrial electrician and proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to travel to support our regional depots across North Queensland.
  • W.P. above 11m or must be able to maintain | Working at Heights or must be able to maintain | LV Rescue / CPR (Training available for all).
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to influence and promote a safety culture, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of electrical systems, and a positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
