Job Overview

As a Field Service Technician Trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of Indigenous Managed Services. You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to develop your skills and knowledge in pipeline inspection and maintenance.

The Role

Under the supervision of our experienced team, you will learn preparation, execution, and completion of surveys and perform all related tasks in accordance with regulations, work procedures, and technical instructions.

  • Receive inspection survey assignments and communicate with the Field Service Coordinator for assignment details.
  • Timely onsite preparation and shipping for inspection tools and equipment to workshops or other sites in cooperation with SCM.
  • Assess tool condition, report any damages, and order needed spare parts.
  • Prepare tool demobilization.
  • Collect, analyze, and validate the survey data for completeness and quality, using proprietary software, procedures, and specifications.
  • Perform basic data processing and compile data acceptance criteria.
  • Output reports onsite as part of deliverables.
