Belt Splicer

Allstar Blue is currently recruiting for experienced Belt Splicers to join our team in Kalgoorlie. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our belt-based systems.

• Perform belt splicing, repairs, maintenance, and installations on various types of belts.
• Remove and replace belts without supervision, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Conduct regular belt audits to identify potential issues.
• Operate winches and winders to maintain efficient belt operations.
• Assist in creating splice reports to track belt performance.
• Perform hot and cold repairs, as well as pulley lagging and mechanical clip application.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in belt splicing and maintenance.
• Proven experience with various types of belts, including fabric, steel cord, solid woven, and ply.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination.
