We are seeking an experienced ERP Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our ERP database systems. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP software, data management, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of our data.


The ideal candidate will have experience with database installation, configuration, and maintenance, strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL, SSRS, and IFS Quick Reports. Additionally, proficiency in database management tools and software is required. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential for this role.


Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain ERP and APPS 10 databases
  • Monitor database performance and perform tuning
  • Implement and manage database backups, restores, and disaster recovery plans
  • Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as updates, patching, and upgrades
  • Build and maintain user roles and permissions and event configuration
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across the database environment
  • Manage user access and permissions to ensure security and compliance with policies
  • Optimize Oracle, SQL queries and troubleshoot performance issues
  • Provide support for database-related issues and incidents

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a DBA, with specific experience in managing ERP on-premises and Azure hosted cloud database
  • Proven experience with database installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL, SSRS, and IFS Quick Reports
  • Proficiency in database management tools and software
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
