Job Description:

Pirtek North Sydney requires a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Mobile Service Technician. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field service and repairing plant and machinery to customers.

As a Mobile Service Technician, you will travel to sites within Hornsby and surrounding areas to replace hoses in breakdown situations or complete new installation work on various machinery.

The ideal candidate will have trade/field services experience in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics, with good numeracy, verbal, and written skills. A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship are essential, as is a desire to be a team player.

You must also possess the ability to operate machinery, use tools, and measuring devices accurately, and have flexibility with working hours as after-hours availability is required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trade/field services experience in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics
  • Good numeracy, verbal, and written skills
  • A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
  • Desire to be a team player
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools, and measuring devices accurately

Our role is best suited to applicants who reside near Hornsby or are willing to relocate to Hornsby, and must be available for overtime as well as participating in a 24-hour on-call roster.
