About the RoleThis is a rare opportunity to work on-site in the resources industry, in a capital city location. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the governance and successful delivery of key project outcomes across the region. You will work closely with the Business Systems Manager and the global IT team to develop the roadmap and forward plan of projects, resourcing requirements, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Managing multiple IT projects of critical strategic importance to the business, adhering to the Nyrstar Project Management Methodology.
- Developing and maintaining thorough project management plans to ensure successful project delivery.
- Managing end-to-end delivery of the project to approved scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.
- Tracking projects and providing regular reports on project status to key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering large-scale IT projects.
- Successfully managing multiple concurrent IT projects.
- Systems Delivery Lifecycle methodologies and proven experience in the configuration, testing, and deployment of applications and system integrations.
- Exceptional communication, engagement, and influencing skills.
- Time and meeting management.
- Project management tools, such as MS Project or Service Now, to an advanced capability level.
