About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our Windsor warehouse team on a 3-month contract basis.

This role involves ensuring the accurate and timely receipt, storage, production allocation, and dispatch of goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing inventory, supporting the Supply and Production team through internal picking of production orders and packing of sales orders for external customers.

The Inventory Coordinator will also assist in alerting when inventory needs to be transported to offsite storage and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving Goods: Unload and inspect incoming deliveries, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and checking for damages or discrepancies;
  • Stock Control and Inventory Management: Accurately label, store, and organize stock, while conducting daily cycle counts to maintain inventory records;
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, label, and pack orders accurately, and finalize production orders once returned from technicians;
  • Safety: Ensure all work follows health and safety guidelines, and perform daily equipment checks for forklifts and stock pickers;
  • General Support: Collaborate with the Supply and Production team to ensure smooth operations and alert employees of their deliveries.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with stores, purchasing, stock control, and/or inventory control will be highly regarded;
  • Minimum two (2) years' stores and shipping experience would be advantageous;
  • Forklift license advantageous;
  • Understanding of Inventory management;
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems;
  • Understanding of QA inspection procedures.

Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
