Family Care Specialist Role

As a Family Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality, family-centred care to families with children (0–2 years) in a residential early parenting unit. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal child health, development, and family functioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.
  • Deliver health promotion, education, and support to parents to achieve optimal child health and family functioning.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
  • Minimum two (2) years in a hospital-based postgraduate role.
  • Previous experience in Child and Family Nursing or working toward it.
  • Ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care delivery needs; strong customer service and time management skills.
