Water Safety and Swimming Coach

At our aquatic centre, we are looking for a Swim Teacher to develop and deliver lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school-aged children. The successful candidate will combine stroke development with water safety and enhance overall confidence and ability.
- Design engaging lessons with activities that challenge and develop students' swimming and water safety abilities.
- Recommend students for level progression as appropriate.
- Teach and model effective problem-solving skills and conflict resolution skills.
Key Skills and Qualifications
As a Swim Teacher, you will require:
- A passion for inspiring and developing water safety and swimming skills in children and young people.
- Experience in teaching or coaching roles is beneficial but not necessary.
- Personal attributes like patience, respect, and enthusiasm will take you far as a Swim Teacher.
Essential Qualifications
The following qualifications are required:
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
- Accredited Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (AUSTSWIM or equivalent).
