In this role, you will support the Underwriting Manager and local distribution team to grow and maintain a profitable SME portfolio by delivering a market leading level of underwriting to support our brokers.

You will learn to evaluate risk across a broad range of industries and lines of insurance, building and managing broker relationships, and assisting with marketing initiatives. Key requirements include experience in Underwriting and strong understanding of Broker networks, Tertiary qualifications, ANZIIF, Insurance certification, Knowledge of legislation and regulations governing General Insurance, Ability to deliver risk management decisions and strategies, Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and Customer centric focus.
