About our team, we are a well-established and growing integrated medical specialist group providing cardiac, vascular diagnostic imaging, and clinical services together with sleep and respiratory services.
We operate in various regions, including the Perth Region and Melbourne. Our Sleep Laboratories are located in metropolitan Perth and Bunbury at St John of God Private Hospital. We are seeking motivated individuals to join us as casual Sleep Scientists working from our inpatient laboratories, performing home-based sleep study set-ups from our outpatient clinics.
Job Role- Perform setup for in-lab sleep study patients including the application of electrodes and sensors to the patient.
- Set up patients for home-based sleep studies in our outpatient clinics.
- Interact with patients to explain testing and treatment procedures and ensure all relevant patient data is recorded accurately and comprehensively.
- Overnight monitoring of signals and ensuring the well-being of the patients.
- Scoring and analysis of polysomnographs, helping prepare provisional reports for our sleep physicians.
- A degree in health sciences (or related) is required for this role.
- Competitive hourly rate with overnight and weekend loading where applicable.
