Counselor for Career Advancement

The role of a Senior Career Advocate is to provide operational support and lead the team in assisting individuals and participants to overcome barriers and develop their capacity.
\The team works with job seekers aged 15-24, building trust and setting expectations through assessments that provide insight into targeted interventions.
\This is a full-time role supporting multiple sites, requiring experience in Employment Services and working towards achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
\Key Responsibilities:\- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to recognize existing skills and define future aspirations.
- Co-design career roadmaps with young people, agreeing on goals and timeframes for skill development and employment opportunities.
- Establish relationships with community organizations and local stakeholders.
- Engage with employers to understand their needs and place trained young people into suitable positions.
- Experience in Employment Services and working towards achieving KPI.
- Passion or experience in working with diverse groups of young people.
- Results-driven individual with high initiative and administration skills.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating meaningful employment outcomes for young people and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
