Job Summary:

We are seeking an Aircraft Meal Preparation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing meals for our airline customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and present meals to the highest standard.
- Stock and manage inventory of dry store items, including equipment, packaged snacks, and beverages.
- Load and unload wash lines, ensuring all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are in perfect condition.
- Maintain food safety and HACCP guidelines, adhering to hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
- Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure delivery timelines.

Requirements:

- Sound numerical skills for accurate documentation and reporting.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as move and lift items.
- Ability to work shift work across a 7-day roster.
- Neat and tidy presentation.
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP (desired but not essential).
- Basic knife skills (desired but not essential).
