Job Opportunity

This is a Caseload Midwife position that brings together various aspects of midwifery practice in our vibrant coastal communities.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with diverse communities across approximately 90,000 km², including Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine, and Sarina.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience you won't find in metropolitan hospitals while making a real difference in the lives of those in our rural and regional communities.

As a Caseload Midwife, you will be responsible for delivering primary maternity care, conducting home visits, and providing emotional support to women throughout their pregnancy journey.

You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other health professionals to provide comprehensive care to women and their families.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
