Animal Welfare Inspector Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an Animal Welfare Inspector. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare in veterinary premises throughout the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).

The ideal candidate will have experience working with animals and/or in the veterinary profession, although this is not an essential requirement. Currently residing outside of the ACT may also be beneficial to avoid conflicts of interest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect veterinary premises to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Liaise with veterinary practitioners and premises to address any issues or concerns
  • Prepare reports on the outcome of inspections, highlighting areas for improvement
