Job Opportunity: Rehabilitation Nurse Manager

We are seeking an experienced nurse to lead our rehabilitation team and drive excellence in patient care.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position within our hospital, overseeing the planning, implementing and evaluating of practices, processes and services. You will work with and support nursing staff in achieving best practice and legislative requirements.

You will supervise, lead, direct and motivate staff to achieve outcomes while effectively managing financial and human resources. You will also oversee roster processes and allocate duties for clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of quality initiatives aligned with national standards.
  • Mentor and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage financial and human resources to optimize team performance.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum five (5) years' post graduate nursing experience.
  • Experience in managing clinical staff recruitment, rostering and performance management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
