Maintenance Services Director

At Mater Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Services Director to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the equipment, buildings and grounds of our facilities are fully compliant to legislative and industry standards and remain operational for the services they need to provide.

This role will oversee internal and external resources and contractors to implement the maintenance program, prepare and manage the maintenance budget, and ensure asset lifecycle management aligns with business needs and growth.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience of building services and plant and equipment maintenance, as well as experience in managing contractors and small to medium size projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying maintenance requirements for buildings, grounds, plant, and equipment with regard to risk management and safety regulations
  • Maintaining maintenance programs that meet relevant standards and health and safety requirements
  • Monitoring plant and equipment performance to minimize costs and plan for asset replacement
  • Meeting customer requirements for operational maintenance needs as defined in the Engineering Service Level Agreement

The Maintenance Services Director will report to the Director of Engineering and Maintenance and will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Finance & Operations Manager.
