Accounts Receivable Officer

At Linfox, we're looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cash management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and allocate daily payments, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Produce and send invoices and monthly statements to customers, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage customer claims and credits, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Oversee a portfolio of debtor accounts, ensuring timely payment and minimizing bad debt.
  • Process new account openings and maintain accurate master data in our SAP system.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required, supporting the finance team in achieving our goals.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in accounts receivable or a related field, with a strong understanding of cash management processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Well-developed organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
