Job Overview:
">We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Services Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position responsible for the coordination of all activities relating to the Environmental Services Department.
">About the Role:
">- This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage resources, staff, and activities within the Environmental Services work area to ensure best practice in support services provision.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that environmental services are delivered to high standards, meeting the needs of patients, clients, aged care residents, and NHW staff.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Coordinate all activities related to the Environmental Services Department, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective delivery of services.
- Manage and supervise staff within the Environmental Services team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of environmental services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of environmental services with broader organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates on departmental performance and progress towards targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as environmental management, public health, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in environmental services management, with a focus on quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and implement improvements.
- Familiarity with environmental policies and procedures, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
