We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior to join our creative team at Studio LBA. As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the design and technical delivery of residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical and design skills, with a strong understanding of RIBA Work stages and building regulations in Scotland. They will be able to think creatively and come up with innovative design solutions that are grounded in a commercial awareness of their work.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Technically proficient with experience on all RIBA Work stages.
  • Ability to think creatively and come up with positive design detailing.
  • Thorough understanding of domestic and non-domestic projects, regulations and building standards in Scotland.
  • Experience in multi-unit residential developments, student accommodation and commercial projects.
  • Accurate and have a high attention to detail.
  • Friendly, motivated and creative, out-of-the-box problem-solver.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to create positive and long-lasting relationships with our consultant team, contractors and clients.
  • Proactive and organised, with excellent record-keeping.
  • Strong BIM skills, ideally in ArchiCAD.
  • Someone who shares our team values.

This role will involve local travel, and a driving licence is essential.
