Mental Health Clinician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team in the Illawarra region. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide trauma-informed mental health care services to adults, employing evidence-based psychological therapies and tailored wellbeing interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop treatment plans for clients dealing with moderate to severe mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
  • Actively engage in individual and group supervision, alongside ongoing professional development activities.
  • Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing (RN), Occupational Therapy, or Counselling.
  • Registration with relevant professional bodies (APA, PACFA, or AASW).
  • 1–2 years experience in mental health intervention.
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records.
  • Ability to work autonomously and stay organized.
