Commercial Advisory Specialist

This role plays a key part in our Commercial Advisory and Transactions group, providing commercial, financial, transaction management, and strategic advice to clients for their major infrastructure projects.

The Associate Director will be responsible for supporting large-scale urban renewal projects with commercial and financial advice, delivering precincts tied to many of Australia's largest and most complex real estate, place, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting large-scale urban renewal projects with commercial and financial advice.
  • Delivering precincts tied to many of Australia's largest and most complex real estate, place, and infrastructure projects.
  • Managing client engagements, coaching, and developing junior staff and client resources.
  • Assisting clients in the assessment, analysis, valuation, and procurement of assets to support their financial, commercial, service delivery, and corporate objectives.
  • Collaborating with specialists across a range of disciplines to provide integrated solutions for clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Career experience across (or a proven interest in) the real estate, mixed-use development, place, and placemaking environments, with a focus on investment and decision-making areas.
  • Providing strategic, commercial, financial advice, and developing financial models.
  • Preparing briefing documentation for tenders, submissions, and investor memorandums, running financial models, supporting transaction strategy and analysis.
  • Preparing client deliverables, business cases, feasibility studies, reports, presentations, or financial assessments to support client outcomes.
  • Recent professional experience in corporate advisory, management consultancy, or similar environments.
