Environmental Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments and approvals, investigating contaminated land, and developing remediation plans. They will also monitor hydrology, hydrogeology, and water quality, perform biodiversity surveys, and ecological assessments. Additionally, they will develop and implement environmental management plans and auditing procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and obtain necessary approvals
  • Investigate and report on contaminated land and develop remediation plans
  • Monitor and analyze hydrology, hydrogeology, and water quality data
  • Perform biodiversity surveys and ecological assessments in various environments
  • Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management plans and auditing procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. They must also possess excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards delivering high-quality work. A valid Australian driver's license is required, as well as strong interest or experience in environmental approvals, contaminated land, or ecological fieldwork.
