About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Mental Health Clinician to lead our team in providing high-quality mental health services to the community. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and liaising with our acute care services, community programs, and recovery facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex care planning and service coordination for improved outcomes for children, young people, and their families. You will demonstrate capability in providing full-range mental health interventions at a senior level, including mental state examinations, risk formulation and assessment, and psychological assessments.

In addition, you will have expertise in individual, family, and group treatments for children and young people presenting with psychiatric, behavioral, emotional, social, or developmental issues. Your skills and qualifications must include unencumbered registration with APHRA for Nursing, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, eligibility for membership with AASW for Social work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the mental health team to deliver high-quality services
  • Develop and implement effective care plans for patients with complex needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health policies and procedures

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits. In addition, you may be eligible for relocation assistance through our Regional Mental Health Workforce Incentive program.
