Job OverviewThe Cleaning and Trolley Collection Team Member plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers. This position involves working independently and as part of a team to ensure our stores meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of Coles Supermarkets.
Key Responsibilities- Follow a checklist of cleaning tasks throughout the store to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Operate various equipment and use cleaning products to sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and buff floors in the store, team rooms, toilets, and offices.
- Clean and dust shelving, refrigeration rooms, industrial ovens, and drains to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Collect trolleys from in and around the store and carpark, regardless of weather conditions.
- Be able to work both indoors and outdoors, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace.
- Have a keen eye for detail and cleanliness, with a passion for working safely and adhering to Coles Safe Work practices.
- Be able to set priorities, meet deadlines, and demonstrate a solid work ethic.
- Be physically active and fit, with the ability to lift up to 17kgs.
- Availability to work a wide variety of shifts between 5am-11pm, 7 days per week.
