We are seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our team at KinCare, providing high-quality home care services to older members of our community.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience in a support worker role, including personal care;
- A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- A commitment to providing person-centered care and supporting individuals to maintain their independence.
This is a permanent part-time position, with guaranteed hours and shifts in Parramatta. You will be working closely with our customers, providing domestic assistance, helping with meal preparation and shopping, and providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities.
You will also be responsible for providing personal care, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, managing medications, assisting with mobility and therapy goals, and providing respite and emotional support.
