This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to motivate and guide a team of engineers. If you are a practical, execution-focused engineer who enjoys leading and doing, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day engineering operations, working closely with the Engineering Manager to execute the product development roadmap.
  • Improve design processes, develop and refine CAD models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Work alongside a small team, assign tasks, troubleshoot technical challenges, and coach junior engineers on best practices.
  • Own the design process from concept to production, ensuring high-quality, made-to-order products.
  • Digital Tools & Automation – Work with parametric design, 3D CAD, and engineering automation.
  • Configure-to-Order & Engineer-to-Order – Support pre-production engineering and manufacturability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical or similar).
  • 5+ years in product design & engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong CAD skills (Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar), including parametric and modular design.
  • Pre-production engineering & design-for-manufacture experience.
  • Some team leadership or mentoring experience (leading drafters, junior engineers, or small teams).
