Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day engineering operations, working closely with the Engineering Manager to execute the product development roadmap.
- Improve design processes, develop and refine CAD models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Work alongside a small team, assign tasks, troubleshoot technical challenges, and coach junior engineers on best practices.
- Own the design process from concept to production, ensuring high-quality, made-to-order products.
- Digital Tools & Automation – Work with parametric design, 3D CAD, and engineering automation.
- Configure-to-Order & Engineer-to-Order – Support pre-production engineering and manufacturability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Engineering degree (Mechanical or similar).
- 5+ years in product design & engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong CAD skills (Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar), including parametric and modular design.
- Pre-production engineering & design-for-manufacture experience.
- Some team leadership or mentoring experience (leading drafters, junior engineers, or small teams).
