This role is specifically designed for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants, as per the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.

You will work closely with the community, supporting individuals with culturally safe and holistic services that help them overcome barriers and secure sustainable, ongoing employment.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups
  • Develop tailored plans for individuals to create successful and culturally safe pathways for employment
  • Empower individuals by positively developing and enhancing their employability skills to find meaningful employment and provide support to employers and participants
  • Deliver a quality service whilst adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements
What You'll Be Doing

As an Employment Consultant, you will be responsible for:

Building and maintaining relationships with local employers and community groups

Developing tailored plans for individuals

Empowering individuals to enhance their employability skills

Delivering a quality service

What You Will Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • May require a current probationary or open Australian Drivers Licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willing to complete a National Police check
  • Willing to obtain a MyID (standard level)
  • Ability to pass a Working with Children's check
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
