Corporate Governance Specialist

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that corporate governance processes run smoothly and that legal and regulatory obligations are met. As our new Corporate Governance Specialist, you will support the implementation of risk and compliance frameworks, including ASIC and AFSL reporting.

About the Role
  • Implement risk and compliance frameworks, including ASIC and AFSL reporting
  • Support Risk and Compliance Committees and annual audits
  • Maintain registers: incidents, breaches, conflicts of interest, fit and proper persons
  • Provide regulatory compliance and ASIC reporting support
  • Coordinate board meetings, minutes, and follow-up actions
  • Oversee board and executive declarations and authorised representatives
  • Guide corporate governance requirements
  • Review and implement governance policies, charters, and risk frameworks
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, Privacy Law, and APRA Prudential Standards
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of corporate structures
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Self-driven, accountable, and collaborative team player
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in new areas of expertise
