Job Title: Laundry Team Leader

This role involves managing a laundry service within an aged care facility providing specialized care to residents with dementia and complex needs.

About The Role
  • Collect, process, and deliver professionally cleaned linen to internal and external customers
  • Communicate effectively with managers and other staff to ensure timely completion of laundry-related tasks
  • Identify opportunities for improved work methods and implement relevant policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals
  • Manage stock levels and place orders as necessary
  • Develop skills in manual handling, infection control, and standard precautions

Applicants must be comfortable interacting with residents and working in this environment. High-level communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential. Proficiency in administrative and computer systems is also required.
