CrowdStrike is a global leader in cybersecurity delivering an AI-native platform to stop breaches. We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Platform Professional Services team.
- This role requires strong technical skills and experience in security posture optimization, incident handling, and remediation processes across various platforms.
- You will work directly with customers to identify gaps in their detection and response capabilities and implement best practices to ensure they get the maximum value from their CrowdStrike investment.
About The Role:
In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team that combines deep technical expertise with exceptional customer service to deliver measurable security outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Exercise incident handling and remediation processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
- Perform malware analysis across a variety of different customer environments full of new or emerging threats.
- Develop and improve processes for incident detection and the execution of countermeasures.
- Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customers.
- Develop and implement security content and automations across multiple CrowdStrike modules including EDR/SIEM.
- Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events.
- Provide continuous feedback and solutions for operational collateral and capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Working in a SOC, Malware Analysis or IR environment.
- Incident Handling: experience conducting or managing incident response for organizations, investigating targeted threats such as the Advanced Persistent Threat, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.
- Computer Forensic Analysis: experience using forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to determine the extent and scope of compromise.
- Systems Administration: understanding of system internals to implement and execute countermeasures and remediation.
- Network Forensic Analysis: knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools, and ability to analyze network logs.
- Malware Analysis: ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis to understand the nature of malware.
- Incident Remediation: strong understanding of targeted attacks and ability to create customized remediation plans for compromised organizations.
- Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering: understanding of secure network architecture and network operations.
- Programming/Scripting: experience coding in Python, PowerShell, or .NET, or the desire to learn, with experience in other languages.
