Registered Nurse – Surgical/Maternity Job Description

Job Requirements:
  • A 12-bedded Maternity Ward and three Labour Suites, plus outpatient maternity care
  • Barker Ward – Surgical/Medical care with a dedicated Nurse Specials Unit
  • Endoscopy Department
  • Day of Surgical Admissions Unit, incorporating our Day Surgery Unit
  • A modern Perioperative Unit, with four theatres

To be eligible for a permanent appointment, it is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed-term appointment, you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

Applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. This pool will be reviewed and applicants assessed throughout the advertisement period. Appointments may be made from this pool until 01/06/2026.
