About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Secondary teacher to join our esteemed global school in regional Victoria. This role involves teaching a variety of subjects, including English, Humanities, and Maths, with flexibility for those skilled in Science, Business, or other disciplines. Our school boasts modern, state-of-the-art facilities, and offers a unique blend of in-person and online classes, with small class sizes to enhance the learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver lessons aligned with educational standards, demonstrating a strong understanding of the Victorian/Australian Curriculum.
  • Manage classroom dynamics and create a conducive learning environment, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Deliver lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities, including preparing students for VCE examinations.
  • Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and formative assessments, providing constructive feedback to guide learning.
  • Integrate technology into lessons, using digital resources and online learning platforms to enhance the learning experience.
  • Build positive relationships with students, handle conflicts, and provide pastoral care, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff in planning, resource sharing, and professional development, contributing to a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Must be prepared to relocate to Regional Victoria this year.
  • Hold unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Minimum 4-year Bachelor degree with at least 1 year teaching qualification.
  • Hold valid and up-to-date VIT registration.
  • Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Secondary in Australia, with a strong track record of success.
  • Ability to provide contact details for three education-based references from within the last 5 years.
