IT Security Engineer

Join Talent's Information Technology team as a Senior Network Security Engineer and contribute to the development of secure and reliable network systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining network security systems that protect our assets and ensure business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network security architectures that meet industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures for network security devices and systems.
- Provide training and support to IT staff on network security policies and procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant vendor certifications in network security.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing network security solutions using F5 load balancers, Juniper SRX, Fortinet, and Checkpoint firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, and VTP.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex network issues.
