Lead Education Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced education professional to join our team as a lead teacher.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to lead by example, inspire and motivate students, staff and parents alike. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality educational programs that promote student learning and achievement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Catholic Identity and be able to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive literacy program that promotes phonics instruction, play-based learning and formative assessment
- Plan and deliver explicit and systematic phonics instruction to students
- Cater for a range of student needs through differentiation and incorporate aspects of play-based learning
- Use formative assessment to adjust and target teaching to meet the needs of all students
- Work collaboratively with others to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff and parents
Requirements:
- Current VIT registration
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education and/or willingness to gain accreditation
- Experience in Contemporary Teaching and Learning of Maths and use of The Mathematics Assessment Interview (MAI)
