About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team at Borg. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and constructing manufacturing facilities, refurbishing existing facilities, and designing and constructing automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing engineering drawings and designs
  • Ensuring the accuracy of drafting designs by interpreting engineering concepts and specifications
  • Delivering high-quality drafting work
  • Working to project-specific timelines to ensure quality engineering design drawings are delivered on time
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Relevant technical qualifications in Electrical Engineering in the Automation and Manufacturing fields
  • Minimum 2-3 years design experience
  • Advanced experience in Eplan Cad design
  • Experience in Auto CAD Electrical (an advantage)
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of Siemens and SEW equipment
  • Experience in design drafting to Australian Standards and Codes of Practice
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively within a team environment
  • A sound work ethic and be motivated
