The role of Executive Assistant at Avondale Care offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of our organisational objectives by providing high-quality administrative support to the General Manager and Clinical Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing executive-level administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the General Manager and Clinical Manager's offices
- Coordinating relief for other administrative roles under the direction of the General Manager/Clinical Manager
- Managing diaries and appointments to ensure efficient time management
- Purchasing clinical and administrative supplies as required
- Maintaining confidentiality for all meetings and work
- Supporting accreditation processes and ensuring compliance with relevant standards
- Undertaking ad hoc administrative tasks as requested by the General Manager/Clinical Manager
Additionally, you will demonstrate commitment to a positive organisational culture, adhere to ASL's signature behaviours, and possess current NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to obtain one, valid driver's license, and understanding of Adventist Senior Living's values and mission.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Experience in delivering administrative support services within a health or aged care setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic budget and database tools related to finance, maintenance, clinical care, and governance
- Excellent writing and reporting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to change and respond to pressures
