About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at a project site in QLD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of Caterpillar equipment electrical and AC systems on our mobile fleet in the field and workshop areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical and air conditioning systems critical to machine performance.
  • Ensure electrical/electronic system functionality and reliability exceeds customer expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with the shift Leading Hand to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with statutory/legislative requirements related to AC system maintenance.
Requirements
  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
  • Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in the mining or construction industry.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical and air conditioning systems, including CAT SIS and ET systems.
  • Firm understanding of electrical schematics and circuit diagrams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Coal Board medical and Standard 11 certification, where required.
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space HRWL certification, preferred.
  • Dogging license and HR Drivers license, highly regarded.
