About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic Safeguards' Child and Adolescent Mental Health Response Team as a Clinical Psychologist and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adolescents in acute mental health distress.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Care: Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, provide psychoeducation, and manage referrals and discharge planning using evidence-based, developmentally appropriate techniques.
- Trauma-Informed Practice: Plan and deliver trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate interventions for children and adolescents (0-17 years), collaborating with the Safeguards Team to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Clinical Expertise: Provide specialized psychological knowledge and expertise to the team, enhancing the overall effectiveness of our mental health services.
