Warehouse Team Member Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Assistant to support our team in maintaining an efficient stock flow from the storeroom to the sales floor.

  • This role involves ensuring stock integrity, receiving and processing incoming deliveries, operating machinery such as Pallet Jack and Walkie Stacker, and maintaining accurate record keeping.

A key aspect of this job is providing excellent customer service and supporting customers with pickups of their purchased items. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining store floor and stockroom standards.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have 2-3 years of experience in a retail storeroom environment and possess strong communication skills. Your ability to work unsupervised, take initiative, and operate various machinery such as pallet jacks and stackers is essential.

  • Retail Experience: A background in retail or warehousing is highly desirable.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills are required to provide a positive experience for customers.
  • Machinery Operation: Ability to operate machinery such as pallet jacks and walkie stackers.
  • Self-Sufficiency: Strong self-sufficiency and problem-solving skills are necessary to work independently.
