About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at BaptistCare in Albany. As a Residential Care Partner, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide person-centered, individual care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents
- Ensure person-centred support and support plans are at the forefront of everything you do
- Partner with residents to be involved in the meaningful activities of their life
- Coordinate with other staff to achieve outcomes and liaise directly with nursing staff regarding any specific health concerns
- Support with everyday activities such as eating, personal hygiene tasks, mobility, household tasks, and leisure activities
Requirements:
- Ability to engage residents through a person-centered approach to care and support
- Works well and contributes effectively within a team environment
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Hold a Certificate III or working towards attaining one (desirable) or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
- Ability to pass a National Police Check
- Ability to pass a NDIS clearance check
