Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking experienced Critical Care Nurses to join our team in the Acute Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective patient outcomes.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is $35.46-$49.79 per hour, based on EBA 23 - Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses' & Midwives' Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024.
Job DescriptionAs a Critical Care Nurse in our Acute ICU, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based standards of nursing care
- Providing complex and multi-disciplinary care
- Working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice
- Supervising, directing, and supporting nursing team members
- Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- At least 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute ICU, HDU, or CCU setting
- Post-graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or working towards) is highly desirable
